Does anyone fish for the Fat Alberts on the fly? What line is the best to use.

Hey bro.
I like to add either a braided leader or you can also use some of the Tyger leader. Tyger leader is just like the braided line but it is made out of Kevlar and can be tied the same way you would tie any other type of mono line. Tyger leader is more resistant to fraying from the toothy critters too.[cool] [signature]

I usually will use a floro. leader. Doesn't make for the best presentation on entry but I'm not too worried about that fishing schools in the salt. I was asking more along the lines of intermediate line or sinking line and how many grain if using sinking line.

I prefer to use the Boomer line for long casting ability and with a 3grain sinking tip. That gives is just enough sink to surpas the nuetral bouyancy effect and slowly sink through a feeding school. You can use a lighter sinking tip if you go with a weighted fly.
Many times I will use leadwire laced flies with a floating tip for the same effect. 21 wraps of .020 will add @ 1/4 oz to the fly. This is a killer effect and get a lot of attention.[cool] [signature]

No problem bro. I know for a fact that you make some pretty good stuff. I was able to use it in Baja California last year and hit some nice Rooster Fish as well as some nice Red Fish in the area.[cool]

No kidding! I haven't gotten out in quite a while. I'm in the middle of 2 project boats. Freshwater boat is almost done, I put a 6ft casting deck on it. My salt boat is in dire need of a cowling for a Yamaha 150 then the controls as well.
