Gator, Chick, Crappie, 2/16/2009, Murddock
#1
I met Murddock at WT ramp at 12:30, we went in search for some slabs. Went first out into the river and the wind was really up, we fought it on a dock for about 30 min. and decided to get out of the wind, tried some docks out of the wind with no luck so they went to do some bluff fishing and caught one (almost a tarp) 13.5 inches on a panfish assassin, then left there and trolled in WT Creek for about 40 min. and Murddock caught one keeper doing that. We then fished some WT docks and brush piles with hardly any luck at all. All toll was 5 crappie, 1 blue gill, 1 lm bass dink, and of the crappie we had 2 keepers but all were released. Water temp got up to above 50 in the Creek in places. We used the tried and true panfish assasins and stingers. Better days ahead. Still it was great to be on the water and Murddock is great company. emoToast
