Put in at Crow Creek around lunch time. Water temp in Crow Creek was 50-51 and in the main river was 48-50. We started out fishing flats out towards the main river, and pulling back into the creek channel. Ended up working our way down to Bellfont, fishing creek mouths. We boated 8 fish today; all caught on lipless crankbaits. The biggest went 5-3 lbs, and I caught it on a custom xr 50 off of a visible weedbed. Tried a jerkbait for a while today, but I still cant get the hang of them yet; it would help if I would catch a fish on one. Oh yea, towards the end of the day the wind was cold and screaming from the north.
