Twin lakes and Crowthers Reservoir Report
#1
Got down to Twin Lakes today around 1:15 PM. I started at the lake that is closer to the town Clifton and it was extremely slow. Not a single bite. I decided I would drive over to the other lake to check it out. After another hour or so of no bites I decided I would try and peek down the hole to see If there was anything around. Even though I looked like a fool it payed off Smile I saw my jig disappear and yanked up and pulled out a little rainbow. Then I sat there for another 45 minutes with nothing, so I decided to move around again. I hopped around about 30 or so different holes and managed to catch an 8" perch or so. I needed to be back by 6:00 PM so I decided to call it a day around 4:30 PM. A little disappointed in my days catch I headed back for Malad. Driving through Weston canyon I saw quite a few deer, so be careful if you are driving in that general vicinity. I decided I wasn't satisfied with only returning to my grandparents with one perch, so I decided to swing by crowthers reservoir real quick. During the 30 minutes I fished there I pulled out three rainbows, two little 5" ones and then about a 13". Not nearly as fast fishing as last weekend but still a fun outing.
