Don't give up on ice fishing yet . There is plenty of it at Mackay . A good solid 24" with edges you can ride a 4 wheeler out on . Tuesday I landed 12 fish and kept 5 . Two Kokanee and three Rainbows . I missed a lot of bites and the bite was real soft . Curt G. The last Picture is my Truck if you see it anywhere come say Hi .

i wanted to stop by on my way home from steelhead fishing last sunday but i had no auger and i didnt want to mooche off someone i had never met but maybe in a couple weeks if there is still good ice. I guesse i can keep my fingers crossed.

So much for my Mackay ice fishing trip. I had to cancel out as I came down with cold and flu symptoms. Hope someone else is able to give us an update on the ice fishing there. Maybe I will try mid-week if I can shake this stuff!

Thanks for the report and pics. My kids will be in Mackay for a wrestling tournament next Sat., but I have to work. So unfortunately no ice fishing for me for awhile.
