glendale
#1
i went out and fished the bear on sat. for a bit seeing if i couldnt pick up a walleye or two. I left early cause of the lack of action, had about a hour to burn so i hit glendale. I headed out and talked to a guy and a couple kids who were catching trout one after another but like i had heard on previous posts they were small, i headed over to the far side of the lake to find an open hole sense i handt planned on ice fishing. found one and probly 14" of good ice still. I caught a good large mouth probly 13 or 14" and fat as a pig, released him and a couple small and i mean small maybe 6" trout. Headed back and noticed they were letting water on the concrete slide (100 yards east of were you put your boat in). Thought i might catch one or 2 there real quick. A big area of open water is there, I caught trout after trout there. Wished i had a bobber so i could feel them. I only had a jig and worm and they kept picking it up and carrying it toward me. I finaly got bored of catching the little buggers and headed to the truck.

How were the edges . Do you need a plank to get on the ice . Thanks Curt G.

i walked right out and didnt even think of it but both my dogs found slush right behind me, it wasnt more than you could jump though. It was cold saturday though i think it was 26 degrees so it could be slushy on a warm day.
