It might depend a bit on what kind of reel…<br><br>Spinner or conventional..?<br>Braid or mono..?<br><br>Spinners, ya need to really make sure it goes on without twisting, it needs to come off the bulk spool the same direction it goes on the reel spool.<br>`maybe others can tell how this is done..?<br><br>With conventional reels, it’s still important it goes on same direction.<br>I usually put a BIG chopstick thru the bulk spool & hold tension with my feet…<br><br>With braided lines, it needs to be Tight & cris crossing the line on the reel spool so it won’t dig in under pressure…<br><br>What knot do folks use for the connection to reel spool with mono & braid..?<br><br>[Smile] <b><font color=red>ALOHA</b></font color=red> [Wink]<br><br>Dan<br>Stand Up!!!<br><br><A HREF="http://www.fishingkauai.com" target="_new"> Stand Up Fish`N Charters Kauai Hawai </A> <br>[Wink]
