went down to the big G today to try find some productive water and eliminate some. water temps ranged from 46 to just a shade over 50 in the back of the creeks. Did not find a lot of willing fish today no matter what was throwed, and we threw everything from plastics to cranks. I think this last cold snap has them slowed down a little bit. Water temps should be around low to mid 50's by sat. we did find a couple to put in the boat one pushing four lbs and a slick. Sorry for not giving too much info guys but the TX sat. should be some awfully good bags weighed in. Sorry to dissapoint you Billy...we are saving Nickajackangler's "secret" spots for Sat. emoDance . I predict there will be some great bags weighed in from several different areas of the lake, fishing different styles from shallow to deeper water. Today was one of those days when the wind was a constant problem for staying on your spots. really windy. Partner complained all day about my driving " thought my wife was in the boat with me". emoPoke partner has a pic of our one decent fish, Did not want to sore mouth them all, maybe it will get posted. looking forward to seeing everyone Sat. good luck and be safe.
