Rockport & Echo Bass Questions ....
#1
Hello fishing freaks! I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Rockport & Echo are good bass lakes? Are there any size to these smallies?

I have never fished Rockport, But have caught a few smallies at Echo by chance. I was fishing a few weeks ago with powerbait for the trout and pulled in about a 14 inch smallie. Go figure

I've only fished for bass once at Rockport. We actually went for trout but the water was rather warm and we didn't catch anything. We decided to try for bass. I had some old amber colored rubber worms in my tackle box (I haven't seriously bassed fished in almost 10 years) we hooked them up weedless and dragged them along the bottom. We caught a few in about 45 minutes and missed a lot of hits. Our location was on the NE side of the lake. Fish by submerged rocks (obviously).
