My son and I got out today at 2 after waiting for the rain to clear. We had plans to do some bass fishing and finish with some late crappie fishing. We drop the troll at the ramp on wolftever and started slow rolling a spinnerbait. After two hours we had no bass to show for our effort. I felt as if they were there but not taking it. I had three short strikes on the spinnerbait and nothing on the jerkbait. We went further back in the creek and was meet by a wall of mud in the places I had plan to fish. So plan three was to head out to the lake and try for bass and crappie. We fished in 10 to 20 feet of water and only found 3 keeper crappie and 2 keeper spots. we also had 1 channel cat and 3 large drum that my son called trash fish. I included one pick of our best fish.
