Trolling Tips

Spread your baits out to cover a wide path using a variety of floats and in-line planers. Getting your baits as far back from the boat as you can also means you have a better chance of catching fish rather then scarring them with your boat. The problem with many of these apparatuses is that you need to remove them from your line in order to reel the fish in or risk knocking the fish off when it shakes at boat while you are trying to net it. Some are so heavy they can break your line when the fish shakes.

Redirig floats & Dualfin planerboards are lightweight, have sensitive releases and can easily be netted with the fish.
