We got to the lake about 11:30... HBSP. Ran upstream and stayed around the nuke plant in various coves, points, flats, channel breaks, bluffs, drops, humps, clay banks, rocky banks, docks, stumps, shallow water, deep water, blowdowns, outside bends, inside bends, backend of coves, rip rap, around baitfish, without baitfish... etc .... water temps between 55 and 59, fished with Crankbaits, rattle baits, jerk baits, jigs, swim baits, carolina rigs, texas rigs, spinner baits, crappie jigs .. all with varying degrees of failure emoScratch ... we caught 1 bream, 1 yellow stripe, 1 catfish, sun(wind)burn ... watched a lot of boats going everywhere ... boats were fishing all around us... never saw a bass.. never saw anyone catch a bass... never smelled a bass... even tried the bluffs (after everyone left.. guess we had it to ourselves for a reason) for bass and/or crappie... nadda .... fished deeper water docks, shallow water docks, main lake docks, docks in secondary coves... not a strike... worst catching day I believe I've ever had on the water... and BAM ... 31 lbs to win the CBA? emoEek emoWorthy I know I struggle with low water (and most other times too) ... but, sacks like that are why I can't fish the CBA ... I am clueless as to what to even look for to get a 20+ lbs bag. I guess I'll just stay in my hole and gawk at these big stringers o' bass. I've fished this lake for many years, fished with guides on the lake, fished with the likes of Andy Morgan and Tracey Penney, and a few other guys back during the Red Man tourney days .. and today just embarrassed the snot out of me emoConfused emoEek ... kudos to you gents that bring those consistent stringers to the scales emoApplause you got it going on ... maybe one day I'll figure out something like that. emoTongue

TylerWare ... when did you say you wanted to school me? emoSmile
