Me and a friend ran out to Mctucker yesterday for a few hours. Fished the creek for a few hours, not even a bite (it was pretty high dirty though). We were pretty discouraged but decided we would still throw a worm in one of the ponds. It was a good decision. We caught about 24 fish in just an about an hour, all little planter bows (all 12" or under) but they were healthy and fun fighters. I hooked into what felt like a catfish in one of the pounds but never got it into check. Anyways a fun day even if they were small.

Another fun spot you could try that is out that way is Crystal Springs Pond... my buddy was just out there yesterday and told me while he was out there the fish and game planted 1,500 rainbows. so should be good fishing this weekend if anyone wants to take the kids out for a fun fishing trip...We always found yellow (cheese) power bait works the best out that way.......

We actually go to the smallest pond i think it is in the northest corner if i have my directions right. They said it winterkilled last year but we pulled some good sized bass and some growing catfish last year so it will be interesting to see how that pond does now that they have thrown in some trout too.
