I took WLG fishing with me today. What we lacked in quantity from yesterday, we more than made up for with quality fish. We landed 34 crappie. Only one throwback in the bunch. Yesterday the fish were deep, today they were shallow. We had 1 throwback, 10" (5), 11" (15), 12" (12), 13" (1), 5 bluegills, 1 yellow bass, 1 spot, 1 largemouth, 1 smallmouth, 1 drum, and 2 catfish. Wonderful 1/2 day of fishing.<br /><br />The hot lure today was a ringer stinger and a few came on panfish assassins. Didn't even throw a bg shad today. Wanted to try something different. The fish were spawning and in 2-3 feet of water mostly. All fish were released today to finish what they have started. The warmest water temp that I saw was 59.1 degrees.<br /><br />Wade, I really enjoyed the day with you and so glad that we were able to catch some fish together.
