Jointed Rapalas
#1
These are one of the most effective lures in history. I have caught LMB, SMB, 5 species of trout, Tiger Musky, carp, and walleye on them. They are my go-to for brown trout on the rivers.

I've fished one for 6 months haven't caught a thing. Got a couple of hits though...Any tips on it? Retrieval rates, any other little tips or tricks?

I found that I catch about 95% of my fish retrieving the lure straight in line with your rod tip, meaning when you cast out in front of you, keep the line in line with the rod, not to the left or right. I noticed if you cast the lure out front of you and move the rod to the right/left it makes the lure swim on its side and is not as affective. I also mix up the retrieve a little as well. Cast, reel, stop and let it sit for 2 seconds, reel again and repeat!!!
