Gator invited me to tag along today with him and grandson, Jacob. We had a great day of fishing. I made a couple of bad calls early, but finally put us on some fish. We ended up with 30 keeper and 4 throwback crappie. We must have caught 2 dozen bluegills today. One yellow bass, one tiny largemouth bass, and 2 channel catfish. We caught all our fish on 1/32 oz jigheads with panfish assassins being the main lure, but I did catch a few fish on bg shads. All fish were shallow today. I didn't notice the water temp when we quit, maybe Gator took it. It was about 57 early. I had a great time teaching Jacob some of my tricks. emoBig emoGeezer emoTeacher
