My kids at school are on spring break, so I figured I needed a day off this week to catch up on some fishing. I also wanted to run my boat a little more and make sure the lower unit rebuild was still doing good. Picked my brother-in-law Tripp up about 6:30am and after our traditional stop at Hamilton's, we were in WT at 8:00am. Headed back into the creek and noticed a lot of wood floating. We fished 4 different docks and caught some crappie, but no size. We then headed out into Harrison Bay and hit some main lake docks. Fished a couple bluffs and ended our day in Waconda Bay. Total for the day was 21 crappie (4 keepers), 4 yellow bass, 1 spaaat, and 1 turtle emoLaugh

We used 1/32 jigs with an assortment of crappie jigs. Color didn't seem to matter for us today. We didn't get much action unless it was a 10-12 count or higher for some reason. I thought they might be more shallow as the water warmed up, but we found them to be deeper around the docks. We finished about 2:30pm. Good day with a bunch of laughs. Picked my wife and nephews up at the airport afterwards. They LOVE anything to do with fish or fishing. So of course they had to check out my livewell and get their pictures taken with some fish. emoTongue

http://i39.tinypic.com/2hydco.jpg
http://i43.tinypic.com/2ufd5y0.jpg
http://i43.tinypic.com/n483nn.jpg
