Windy Cold Flurries...FISH!
#1
Been fishing fishing quite a bit this week. Started Tues with wintery conditions. Had success landing close to 30 fish. Most everything was taken on the fly. Crappie were attacking the clouser as were the LMB. Several crappie over 12".
Went out again 2 days later bite changed to a top-water plug I made, all LMB mostly small bass 1 over 3.5lbs.
Fished yesterday and the bass and crappie were back on the clouser.
Here are a few pics.. Large Bass was taken on a spinner [Image: 0407091743.jpg]

In the last 3 outings 90% of the fish were on the fly. 50/50 ratio on bass to crappie. But the big bass was not on the fly. The one in the last pic was. It was taken on a topwater plug I made. That bass was over 3 lbs.

I was going to say, first picture, spinning, second...no idea, but probably the same thing that worked on #1.
Three & Four looks like Bait reel, but the fly rod is underneath,
AND number five...all the fly line on the floor...fly[laugh]

The spinning gear just ended up in the pic. You can almost make out the clouser in the crappie's mouth. The spinning basically just came out for the ride that day.
