drumking, chickamauga, spotted bass, 4/16/09, Mrs Drumking (Wanda)
#1
It was such a pretty afternoon and I had all the honey do's completed for the day, so I asked the better half if she would go fishing with me for an hour. She looked at all the sunshine and said yes. (She is a fair weather fisherwoman.) emoBigSmile

So we set out for some spotted bass fishing in the lake above Chickamauga dam. We saw Shsimons doing his thang from the rip-rap. MadBomber would be proud of him. We had a very enjoyable one hour of fishing if you like netting someone's fish, taking them off the hook, weighing them, taking pics, etc. Wanda kept me so busy taking her fish off that I could hardly fish. I only caught 3 spots during the hour, but Mrs DK put it on me big time. She caught 4 spots (2 lb 8oz), 2 channel catfish, and a TARP drum of all things. That beast was 30 inches long, but only weighed 10 lb 4oz. But she has her first TARP fish of her life. She is proud of it and about to take over my namesake. emoUpSmile

Water temp was 60.5 and we caught our fish on 2" pearl stingers and plastic minnows. Of course the tails were chartreuse. They don't go on my hook unless they are dipped. emoBigSmile Enjoy the pics. emoGeezer

Bbass, the roller guides work great. Thanks a bunch.
