<br /> i finally got a chance to get my mom on the water to do a liottle fishing.she has not been able to go in the last 2 years due to health problems and caring for my grandma.but she loves to fish as much as any of us,and was really excited about being able to go after a long absence.the day started out a little slow but we finally put together a pattern after a couple of hours.we couldnt get on a rattlebait bite and only caught 2 on a spinnerbait.then we decideded to break out the soft plastics and that was the ticket.we ended up boating 14 or 15 with 7 keepers.most were caught on dead ringers and lizards and you had to work them real slow to get bit.the water temp. ranged from 62-66.
