Ronnie Garrison, West Point, bass, April 17 - 19, none
#1
Friday - April 17, 2009 - Day 107

Got to West Point at just after noon, checked in the campground and got the boat in the water at about 1 PM. Fished some spots I wanted to check out - very tough. Got three hits, landed one 10 inch spot. Not good.

I tried a little bit of everything - rocky points, stump filled backouts, gravel flats, blowdowns.

Water was in the low 60s and there was some wind - fish should have bit better.

Knew there was a big tournament on Saturday and lots of clubs fishing getting ready for the Top Six next weekend. I checked out a creek and located seven spots I would be willing to start on - about ten miles from blast off. Have caught fish on all them in the past.

Went in, ate supper and was asleep by 8 PM.
