Michigan's trout opener
#1
yep, as many of you know michigan had its trout opener last saturday,

of corse it wouldnt be complete if we didnt have a floor show, and bouy howdy did we have one...

trout were hittin slow to midland,

weather was one of the nicest I had seen in years, no skeeters, but the white flies were a swarmin in our faces.

I managed one rainbow about 15 inches. "sory no pic" I did get a pic of the guys

[left]I wasnt sure that the cane pole would sencitive enuff to feal those light tapps of a trout, My wories were all gone when I caught me one of them funky river perch.

remind me not to come over to your house for fish sticks... [:p]

It would take 5 of these river perch minnows heads and all to make one fish stick. [laugh]

our last day for snow on the ground was one week ago today in south east michigan.
