I met dad at the ramp below the dam and launched at 7a.m. They had one generator running closest to the wing wall which made drifting tough. Had a tank full of threadfin by 7:20 and started drifting on bottom. We picked up a couple nice white bass and a drum in the first 30 mins. We fished another 30 mins or so without anything then decided to tie up to the wing wall and try for some more white bass. I hooked in to a big drum that probably went twenty pounds (no scales) or so and dad caught another drum and some small cats we pulled in a couple more white bass and decided to go drift some more. I caught another cat and some more white bass to finish out the morning. Probably ended with about 15 white bass 5 or 6 drum and a handfull of cats not a bad day for 4 hours fishing. All fish were caught on live threadfin in the tailwaters.
