Larry and I put in at HB State Park about 7am this morning in search of some large mouth bass. We fished some flats and some shallow stumps for the most part. Our lures that worked best were 6" worms (black) fished on a 1/2 oz jig and worked sloooow. I caught a couple in some grass on a slug-o in shad color. We boated 20 today with the largest being 3lb 14 oz. All fish were really nice and heavy and all released. Water temp today never got to 70, was about 68 when we left at 4:30 pm. The wind was really up today. A great day to be on the water.
