I am posting this for a neighbor who is not a member, but I guess it is okay. If not, double my membership dues next month!emoLaugh <br /><br />My neighbor, Cloyd in Sale Creel loves to fish and he has a teenage grandson named Caleb that has the gift for hunting and fishing. He apparently is going to be a DK, EricM of the next generation. I was working in the yard mid afternoon yesterday getting ready for company when I noticed Cloyd and Caleb head out in the boat. About dark, Emma and I were starting to fish from the dock after the company left when Cloyd and Caleb came back in. Cloyd yelled, "man you gotta see this one!". It seems Caleb has found a spot near by that has produced quality large mouth, small mouth and catfish for the last 3 weeks. I went over and snapped this picture with my phone but it was tough to get a good shot. They caught a number of channel and blue cats estimated to be in the 8-18 lb range. This prize blue pictured here that Caleb is holding weighed 43 lbs on my gripper scales. They were fishing in 6 feet of water near the bank, using live bream under a float on 12 lb line. Apparently, pulled their boat around a bit and put up quite a good long fight to get him in. It was released between our docks, I sure hope it hangs around!!! emoUp<br /><br />Now for the fishing report from Emma and me. We used worms and crickets and emoRedface, awh, never mind. Did I tell you we have this neighor that loves to fish....
