Got on the water about 11am, and the bass were killin the shad! I threw a shad colored spook and caught a few small Lm. All the fish were in 2 to 5 ft of water. I kept getting hits on the spook but had a hard time keeping them on the line. I switched to a 10"' tequilla sunrise worm and caught a few more in the 12-14" range. Then the bottom fell out! emoRain I waited an hour for the rain to die down, then I went back out. The bass were exploding on the shad, it was like a shark feeding frenzy! So i went back to the spook and the fish were so aggressive, they were knocking it out of the water. I could even get them to actually take the bait. I saw some nice bass that looked to be in the 3-5lb range, So Ill be back at it tommorrow, Lord willin. This time Im going to have some swim baits on me. Hopefully a little more successful! emoSun
