took the family out today to do a little bass fishing and ended up fishing for shellcracker because that was the easiest thing for my 4yr. old daughter to fish for. We ended up catching 10 or so, she really enjoyed until she got tired. Met djbogle (my wifes uncle) at the ramp and my son went with him. the main reason for this post is that when we put in there were plastic barricades blocking off 1/4 of the ramp so we just thought that there was something wrong with that side of the ramp. But when we came back to ramp to trailer boats we were met by the game warden. He was very courteous and told us that the ramp was closed indefinitely. It seems as though alot vehicles have decided to go swimming off that ramp lately, and the state's legal dept. advised the GW to close the ramp immediately and try to find a remedy for the ramp. The GW said they were gonna put concrete barricades so they could not easily be moved. The GW apologized and said they were working as fast as they can to fix the problem.
