Just returned from A good week of fishing the Upper Laguna Madre, Corpus Christi Bay and pier fishing in Fulton(Aransas Bay).
Trout were good 16"-18" drift fishing near Pita Island during the day using live shrimp, croaker and clear glitter salt water assasins with similar yet more sporadic activity near Shamrock island and Fish Pass. Night fishing was good along the Flour Bluff Area with live croaker and in deeper water (4 - 6 feet) with an unbelievable full moon)
Pier fishing in Fulton(Aransas Bay) was fair (Trout)on pier and wadefishing shallows with live croaker, piggy perch and rootbeer shrimp tails except for the passing thunderstorms that eventually shut me down at 1 am.
Can't wait to get back down there, my buddys days its been a real good year for trout and reds.
