Custom Fiber Optic Lures

I like to use crankbaits that are customized with fiber optic eyes. They actually gather light in the water which causes the eyes of the lure to glow. It actually seems to get more hits and bites during sunny days than other plain lures. I have pulled up many lunkers with these. Has anyone else also had luck? I usually buy them from a guy online that customizes them or on eBay.
