Home rennovation question, i figured there might

be a few men OR WOMEN here that would have a clue because I do not haha. I have a porch and the corner is falling apart, the pic is attached, anyone have even a clue of ho0w i could fix this myself, I can handle most tools although torches scare me haha. ANY idea would be so so so so helpfulSmile

safest way is to get a building jack and use it to support the beam. Knock out the old support and pour a footing where the old one was. Make it 20"x20" and deep enough below frost line for your area. Cure over night and add a column, steel filled with concrete would work the best. Make sure to get the plates for anchoring it to beam and concrete.Make sure it is plum before anchoring. Let off on jack easy. Remember supports are never too big.
