Well our plan tonight was to find a decent limit before dark, that didn't pan out. There were people camped on our first 2 spots. So on with plan C. Plan C found us catching dink after dink on c-rigs and jigs. Finally lucked up on our first keeper while I was reeling in a jig. Well by now it was getting dark, so we headed to our night spot. As soon as it got dark we started catching fish a little more regularly. Keeper number 2 should have been a 4lber, but was a knife blade ( pitiful). We just keep trolling on down the bank and catch keeper number 3 and 4 , then it turned to dinkfest again!! Finally at 1:30 we moved to a nice flat with lots of brush and stumps. Put our last keeper in the boat and it was just over 15 inches. That's how we ended the night. Caught 5 keepers that weighed 14.71 ( I think) and good for 5th place. Our big fish was a mean 4+lb smallmouth. All our keepers were caught on spinnerbaits.
