After the weather forecast leveled out this afternoon my son Kyle and I went to look for some Hiwassee fish. We fished shallow, deep <br />and finally found them just off the main river channel on some ledges. All our fish came on Texas rigged red lizards in 10 foot of water.<br /><br />We had a bunch of pecks and short strikes on the 4.0 hooks we were using and down sized our hooks to 1.0 and started catching fish. We had 4 keepers after we switched to the smaller hooks. <br /><br />
