My wife and I got up early this morning and just as the first hint of day came over the horizon we were headed up river to sore mouth some of Richard's catfish. It took all of 45 seconds to hook the first fish and then for three hours it was on.....We caught fish on nearly every drift for an hour then it slowed some but not too slow. We ended the morning with 24 blues and 3 channels. There were none over ten pounds and I guess the average weight was around 5 or 6. Most of the morning they were running only two generators but when they started up the third one the fast bite quit. We used chicken and shad for bait. Water temp was 76 and the depth of the catches varied from 5' to 15'. All fish were released to fight another day. Forgot the camera this monring so no pictures to share.....sooooo I guess this is just another fish tale..... emoPoke
