Went to Woodhead Friday afternoon and stayed the weekend. The ladies wanted more crappie and managed to get a cooler full. I bought a new outboard last week and was wanting to get upriver for some bass. We managed to catch some fish but nothing to brag about. Avery got the largest bass that may have went 2 lbs. We was jacked! Tried just about everything in the box but the crayfish cranks did the best for me. The weather was raining and the wind blowing. Sunday drove down to Hell's Canyon to watch the sheep. Got some great video of them. Stopped at the T-Dock on the way out and reeled up a few cats for dinner. Also picked up a few cats at the bridge at McCormick. Headed home Monday and got the camper and boat stored and took off for Riggins for Salmon. Got there with about an hour of fishing left. My brother got one that night. Next morning all three of us got our 30-33" fish and headed for home. It was a great fathers day weekend but I'm tired!!
I guess we're heading to the South Fork Sunday for 4 days - anybody got a report?

Zero fish at the hatchery as of this morning. A buddy of mine who lives in the area is gonna give it a go on Friday so I will update the post then.

Sounds like you guys had fun. I guess I need to work on my drop shot technique. Hopefully we'll see sometime.

My buddy caught one fish and lost one over the course of five hours yesterday. He said he saw only one other guy catch one.
I'm planning on going up on Wednesday (I'm guessing there will be a decent amount of fish by that point and before the chaos of Fri-Sat.), if anyone wants to split fuel with me pm me.

I like the title of your pic. Any pictures of the salmon?

Nice bass. I am so excited to get back over there. Thanks for the details in your reports.
What are the major differences in fishing styles between brownlee and oxbow for the bass?

No pic from Riggins. I was in such a hurry I forgot my camera and landing net. Lucky for me my brother had his net. Pacing around the house right now. Not sure if I should head to the south fork or stay home and get some choirs done. I wish fish and game would keep their stat's up to date. Anyone know how the salmon fishing been the last few days?

F&G just updated - 21 fish at the trap. I think I'll head up Monday afternoon and come back Tuesday night. Send me a PM if you want to share the gas. I tend to fish the upper end.
