Catch Fish Not Turtles

[font "Times New Roman"]I'm involved in a catch and release fishing program and I want to improve the quality of life for the wildlife that get's caught. Right now we use a size 6 barbless J hook. It seems to OK for the fish but the biggest problem is the turtles that accidently get caught. It's hard to remove the hook and most time we cut the line, try our best and release them back into the water. I really want to prevent this as much as possible because I know that this is bad for the turtle. I was researching barbless circle hooks or weed guards as an option. [/font]
