Daniel and his wife came up last night to fish for a couple of hours. We put in around 5:30 and fished until dark. We tried a couple of spots and caught fish right from the start. Our first stop was in 14' of water and we picked up a couple of nice fish there. The wind was really blowing so we tried to find a place that was a little more protected. I have a bay boat so it can really get blown around. We found a good spot that had a little protection from the wind and stayed there the rest of the day. We didn't crank the motor until we were ready to go home. Schools started popping up all around us, every time they did we would pick up a fish or two. Blind casting between sightings, we were constantly catching fish. I think we would have needed a score-keeper to keep track of how many fish we caught but we guessed it to be between 50-60 bass. Lots were keeper size. Here are some pictures of each of us with a fish. My dog got tired of getting up to lick them before they got put back in the water. That is a LOT of fish for her to give up seeing them! We were using spinner baits, crank baits, big worms and some sort of jig that I was not familiar with. Lots of fun!!!
