hello

Hello: I'm new to forum. Never get to fish as much as I like. I'll be stuck with the in-laws for a week on a houseboat on Lake Mead late august. Wondering what action I should expect and what gear to bring. Is a fly rod worth it or a waste of time?

[#008000][Image: happy.gif]Hi there Michael and welcome to our membership. Have never fished Lake Mead but the western Sierras is my favorite spot too. Perhaps if you posted your question on the Arizona forum: [#bf0000]http://www.bigfishtackle.com/...forum.cgi?category=8 [/#bf0000]
might prove fruitful. Also check out the Fly Fishing forum

for someone there might have visited the Lake more recently. Good luck.[/#008000]

I'll go after whatever is hitting. Obviously, stripers would be my first choice.
