I'm down in Malad for the week so I've fished Weston every day since Monday and am going to hit it again tomorrow. The fishing has been great. Quite a few bass in the 12"-16" range, the ones you cant keep, and a ton of littler guys around 8" or so. I still haven't caught any over 16" but hope I will by Saturday. Last night we also caught a couple trout and tonight I caught a perch. Bass seem to be anywhere you can throw your line in, although there are certain areas where there are more of them holding.

Shane, That looks like a hoot!! You catchin them bass on plastics or are they worked up enough for cranks and spinner baits? I have never been there, it looks bigger than I had imagined it.

I was mostly using plastics. I used my fly rod for a little while as well too. lots of fun sight fishing. Damsel nymphs worked great and have been working great just about everywhere I've been around here.

I probably will hit weston tomorrow. Also like to fish Glendale for crappies, but afraid that there will be tons of people and boats there to mess up the fishing.

Thanks for the info.
Seems that I had to find another weekday, instead of national holiday or weekend for Glendale to avoid those water jets.[mad]
Not try to off topic, but i always had.a hard time to figure out why F&G only put crappies in Glendale, the only place in SE that hold it. Why not put some in McTucker or springfield, the small ponds provide warm water which is perfect for pan fish and closer to Poc/IF/AF. [crazy]

I also caught a crappie out of Lamont about a month ago. That was a fluke though, I've never seen one there before.

I as well caught one crappie out of lamont about two weeks ago, so I guess there are a few in there. This is the first I have ever caught out of lamont.
