I took my son Kyle and my nephew Paul out this afternoon for a little Willow Fly induced action. We found some late hatches up on the Hiwassee and wore out the fish. We were all throwing some Rooster Tails under trees that were full of Willow Flys. We probably caught 100 fish in a little less than two hours.
Strangely enough the single hook Rooster tails out performed the small treble hooked Rooster tails by about 10 to 1. They looked identical except the hooks.

We must have caught every type of bream/blue gill variety in the river along with Crappie, Stripes, Spots, and even a few small large mouth. It was really fun watching the boys reel in the fish.
