hey can any one tell me a good place to fish close to El Paso im deployed in the army here for the next year and would like to get some quality fishing in while im here
i like to fish for trout, catfish, bass, oh hell i like to fish for anything that will bite my hook [cool]
any help would be greatly appreciated

Take Highway 48 north out of Ruidoso for nine miles to Highway 37. Turn left onto Highway 37 and proceed to Forest Service Road 107. Turn left and follow Forest Service 107 past Bonito Lake. Forest Service Trail 36 (Big Bonito Trail) runs 4.6 miles around the tributary. Forest Service Trail 37 (Little Bonito Trail) runs 1.4 miles and begins at the junction of Forest Service Trail 36.

From Cloudcroft take Highway 6563 (Sunspot Scenic Byway) south for 10 miles. The river flows east along Forest Service Road 164. There is 5 miles of stream found on Forest Service land and the rest is found on private property.

Follow US 48 north from Ruidoso 4 miles. Turn left on State Highway 532. Proceed 3 miles and turn on Forest Service Road 127.

Take Highway 70 west from Ruidoso to Tularosa and turn north on Highway 54. Travel to Three Rivers and turn east on Forest Service Road 579. Follow Forest Service Road 579 to its end at Three Rivers Campground (13miles). Forest Service Trail 44 follows the entire stretch of Three Rivers which runs around 6 miles. Forest Service Trail #44 follows along Three Rivers. The entire stretch of Forest Service Trail #44 is found in the White Mountain Wilderness.

[left]Agua Chiquita can be reached by going 22 miles southeast from Cloudcroft on Highway 130 and Highway 24 to the town of Weed. When at Weed, turn right on Highway 521. Follow Highway 521 for 4 miles to Sacramento where it becomes Forest Service Road 64. There is 5 miles of fishable stream on Forest Service land.
