I snuck out for a couple hours this afternoon late and I had a tough one. emoScratch Not sure why but my drop shot bite had died and I only managed two on it today. I tried a spook...notta, a crank....notta, a swim...notta, a big worm...notta, a silver buddy...notta, I finally tried a pig and jig and was able to put a couple nice ones in the boat. They were deep today in about 30 feet. I boated a 3 and a quarter LM, a 2 and a quarter LM and then boated a 18 and a half inch small mouth that was just over three. emoSmile The couple others I got on the jig were not keepers. I did break two good fish off. emoAngry I usually do not break fish off so two in one day is unusal for me. They felt to be good ones. I guess they may have been big drum. emoRolleyes Water temp was 87 and never tried the grass edges today, I am saving them for tomorrow. emoTongue Jmax
