Rick and I put in early this am. Fished from 6 am until 8:30 am and limited out on nice keeper size Crappie. We fished deep water docks in creeks off the river. Color of the day was Bobby Garland Baby Shad with a red head jig. Most of the fish were suspended at 8' to 10' in 15' fow. Sure was pretty this morning watching the sun come up and enjoyed the smooth water surface. I was especially happy to get off the water before the water chiggers showed up. Forgot to check the water temp. and lost count of total fish caught. I would guess 90% of the fish were keepers. Most of the keepers measured 11" to 12-1/2".
