Perch introduction in small lake
#1
[mad] I live on a small (9 acre) lake and have just been informed that someone has (illegally) planted 150 yellow perch. This lake is shallow (8 ft max) and all silt/muck bottom. No weeds other than lily pads and shoreline plants. I'm afraid this may be a disaster. Many stories are out there about lakes overpopulated with small perch. Right now it's all bass and bluegills, bass overpopulated somewhat with few fish over 15". Bluegills are stable with some HUGE fish (10"+) in the population. No minnows.
This is a West Michigan lake.
Anyone have any knowledge regarding the possible control using Hybrid Tiger Muskies? If these would help keep perch in check without harming a great bluegill fishery it would be awesome.

Any help would be appreciated.
