Gator, Chick, Bass, 7/29/09, Doug
#1
With me losing all my good sense, I went with my friend Doug to bass fish before daybreak this morning. We put in at HB and fished from about 6am until 12:00 noon. We fished some rocks, drop offs, channels, and tree tops in water from 4 ft to 20 ft. The bite was very few and far between. The rain however was pretty constant. We finished the day with 8 bass and only 1 or 2 that would be over 15 inches. Doug caught the most on a 5" black finise Zoom worm. I used that plus some lizards, caught mine on 6" lizards in Pumpkin Seed color. Water temp was 81 when we started and I didn't check when we finished. Better days ahead.
