Fished with my buddy Falcon this morning. Put in at Soddy at daylight and fished until about 11:15. The bite was pretty tough. We ended up catching about 6 or 7 largemouth, all 16" and less. Falcon did hook a very nice smallie (4+ lbs) but it jumped right at the boat and spit the bait back at us. Falcon may have actually caught that fish if some dummy (me) emoBang hadn't forgot to bring the net. We threw most everything; jigs, worms, frogs, crank baits, and swim baits. I think every fish was caught on a swim bait. Kind of a slow day but always fun to fish with Falcon!
