Was not even sure if I was going to go this moring but woke up at 5 and decided what the heck. Launched out of the Wolf and started flipping docks. In between I would pitch a spook. First one was on the spook and it killed it, got it in and it was a nice 2.5 lber. Next one on a worm but it got to the boat and came off. It looked short. A few later another hit the worm and just a nice 15 incher. Most of the bass were hitting on the deeper side of the structure. Flipped some more and got a good one, right at 2.75 lbs. Hit a couple more spots and nailed a couple more on the worm including the big one of the day at 3 lbs. and 2 ozes. Not a huge one but nice. Headed out to some grass and found another 2.5er that took the spook. emoSmile That one was the only one I got out of the grass. emoScratch Headed for deep fish and started drop shotting and shakey heading. Caught one each on those. Not a bad day with 13 total in the boat and 9 would keep. Best five would have been around 12 to 12.5 lbs. Had a 3/2, a 2.5, a 2.75, and a couple more smaller twos.

The baits score was one on the shakey, one on the drop shot, three on a spook and the rest off a t-rigged worm. Fished from about 3 foot to 37 feet where I got fish. Tried at 40+ and never got even a smell. Got to see Churly and partner as well as RamJack and partner. Churly was struggling, did not ask Ramjack. I got out in the fog at about 7ish and left at 1:30. Not a bad morning.

C-ya on the water. emoAngler Jmax emoSmile
