Abandoned toon

I and the wife were invited to fish an Iowa farm pond.
When we arrived this is what greeted us along the shore. If you look closely there is even an old glass fly rod with it. Fortunately, there were no signs of a former fisherman. lol
The fishing was fine with a nice mess of Bluegill. A cat and the crappie were returned as the owners son chases them. The cat was a tussle with the old 8 1/2' UL Micro Lite rod.

I think that toon is just a product of a farmers spoiled son neglecting his toys as a teenager.
I'v seen the cars and boats abandoned with weeds growing through them but this toon was a first for me. Nothing can survive neglect---nothing!! Illinoisgiller.
