My son and I fished the last 2.5 hours before dark. Current was 46.5K cfs. water temp 76. South Chickamauga Creek was a raging river pushing muddy water into the TN River muddying up the southern half. We fished rip-rap on the other side and caught several smallies and spots and a couple of largemouth. They were all small except for a 4.5 lb., 20.5 in. smallie. It hit a smoke/glitter Gitzit on a 3/16 jighead. All fish were caught on Gitzits, jig/pig and a few on crankbaits. All fish were released.
