I had to get out of bed quietly this morning so Jake, my dog, and I could sneak out of the house and go fishing. Monday my wife went with us and she caught all the big fish. So I left her at home today.<br /><br />We fished for 4 hours. I caught about 16 bass with the largest being nearly 19 inches and weighing 3 lbs. 10 oz. I also caught 5 channel cats (from 2 1/2 to 5 pounds), 2 crappie (12 1/2 and 13 inches), and a 17 inch drum. The water temperature was in the low 70&#39;s and the main river channel was again pretty windy. All the fish were caught trolling various 1/4 and 1/2 ounce crankbaits from 16 to 23 feet deep.
