Fished our first ever CBA Saturday and didn't do to bad. We lost about a 5lber on the 3rd cast that would end up killing us but all and all it was a good day out . My prefishing spots that did us well on Friday produced just a few slicks and eat up about 2 to 3 hours of our day and half a tank of gas. We absolutely threw the kitchen sink at them today you name it we threw it. It was slow all morning and turned on after lunch for us it was extremely windy most of the day and a really rough ride as well can't imagine the ride if we hadn't been in Bobby's Ranger sure made a huge difference. Not sure of the water temps but the water was slightly stained in most place and extremely muddy in others. We ended up with only 4 fish and caught about 8 that just missed the 15 inch mark and I forgot my fish stretcher so we had to toss them back. emoBang We had a great time and both of us caught our PB smallie the same day Bobby's was a 4.12 lb Smallie and Mine was a 4.20 lb Smallie. The fish that got away cost us big considering we ended up with just 4 keepers to weigh. We definitley would not have one with it but we would have been all over second and had between 16 and 17 pounds. But that is part of it and close only counts in horse shoes and Hand grenades.
